Whey Protein Powder, Vanilla - The vast majority of whey protein powders are flavored with Aspartame (Nutrasweet/Equal), Acesulfame Potassium (Sweet One/Sunett/ACK), or Sucralose (Splenda). While it wouldn’t be in our best interest to say anything negative about these products, you should check them out for safety for human consumption (believe me, you will want to read up on these). We use Stevia in our product, which is a natural herb from Paraguay and has a delicious and refreshing taste. There is no caloric intake since the body does not metabolize the glycosides from the Stevia leaf. It also does not adversely affect blood glucose levels (good for diabetics). Our vanilla whey protein is excellent for diabetics since it contains no sugars whatsoever (unlike our vanilla whey which contains some fructose). So consider trying our whey protein powders using natural and safe Stevia – you will be amazed
Getting whey protein in the proper form is a difficult process. No worries here, we go through all of that in order to product the very, very best whey protein on the planet. Ours is micro-filtered (removing contaminants) and ion-exchanged (purification), manufactured under low heat without chemicals to preserve the protein structures (high heat will denature proteins). Therefore, you are consuming very clean protein when you take our vanilla whey protein powder. Whey protein manufactured this way has the highest bioavailability, which means that you will retain more nitrogen (which is what protein is giving you, among other things) than other proteins (including egg whites, milk proteins, casein and the like). Additionally, it rates a perfect ‘1’ on the Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score (PDCAAS) – the highest rating (so does our soy protein, by the way). We also add in extra L-Glutamine as well as BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids – Isoleucine, Leucine, and Valine) – all of which contribute to muscle tissue growth and wound healing. If you want the absolute best, cleanest, highest bioavailable protein on the planet – all without any artificial sweeteners, lactose, or any other nasties – try our vanilla whey protein.
Contrary to our Chocolate Whey Protein, our Vanilla Whey Protein has a very mild taste – just a hint of vanilla. This allows you to mix it with fruit juices without being overpowered by the taste (we don’t recommend cooking with it). We don’t offer an ‘unflavored’ soy protein for this very reason. Our Vanilla Soy Protein is formulated the same way (very lightly) for the same reasons. Keep looking on our site for recipes using our protein powders – or feel free to invent one and send it to us. Meanwhile, try this recipe which was created by Jean Jitomir, Registered Dietician – Protein Packed Peanut Butter Pudding. We’ll post it here for all to use (and of course give you credit for it, if you so desire). You will be surprised at how easy it is to increase your ‘clean’ protein consumption.
Many folk in the world are lactose-intolerant, which means that you lack sufficient quantities of the enzyme called ‘lactase’ to handle this type of sugar (common in milk and dairy products). So, if you are of this type, drinking milk or dairy can cause extreme gassiness as well as cramping/bloating – ugh, very uncomfortable. Our vanilla whey protein is lactose free, so you need not worry about this whatsoever. Additionally, our whey proteins are easy to mix, so you don’t have to spend minutes stirring the mix into your drink, which you will find to be a blessing.
